Yes, clothing can be made from algae. 

Algae fiber outstands other natural fibers in resisting bacterial, fungus and flame. It is also moisturizing the skin and protecting it from sun light. 

Algae fiber can be blended with other natural fibers to make yarns. Customization is acceptable.
