How to Wash Radiation Shielding Clothes

There are many radiation proof clothes now in the market. As the fabric is special, its maintenance require some work.

The wearable radiation protection clothes are usually made from silver fabric, it's ok to wash it with water. But should avoid the sunlight as the silver will get oxidized.

Besides, there are some tips shall be followed.

1. It's better to wash by hand. Do not use washing machine to wash the radiation protection clothes.

2. Do not use bleacher while washing.

3. Use neutral detergent.

4. Do not twist the radiation protection textiles.

5. Ironing the radiation proof textiles with mediate temperature.

6. Do not fold the clothes in case the metal fabric get broken. Hang the clothes in closet.
