How to deal with the rise of silver price in textile?

Silver is widely used in many industries. In textile industry, silver fabric is mainly used for shielding and anti microbial for high end market as the cost of making silver fabric is high. And silver price went skyrocketing since the fourth quarter of 2025. How to deal with this situation?

For anti microbial purpose, there are many options like bamboo fabric, hemp fabric and seaweed fabric. But their performance is not good as silver fabric when they are with the same percentage in fabric. 

For shielding purpose, the other option is seaweed fabric excluding other metallic fabrics. Seaweed fiber is full of metallic ions to provide emf protection. It is also anti static. 

Compared with silver fabric, seaweed fabric has lower cost and more sustainable. It is a good alternative to substitute silver yarn in the fabric if the silver price still goes up.
