Types of Radiation Protection Fabrics

There are three types fabrics for radiation protection.

Metallic Fabrics

Metallic fabric are made from stainless steel mixed with cotton textiles. The electroconductibility of metal fiber resists radiation. It includes coating fabric and metallic blended fabric.

The coating fabric is that the fabric is covered with metal granules. It can shield the radiation over 50db. However, the metal granules will drop after being wore for a long time and the fabric is not breathable and comfortable. So it's not good for making clothes.

The metal blended fabric is by reeling off the fiber from metal and inseting the fiber in the textile. It is the most common radiation proofing fabric for its high performance, breathability and comfort. The eletromagnetic radiation effectiveness can reach 99%. Joyncleon fabric is the representative fabric.

Silver Fiber Fabrics

Silver fiber fabric is covering the textiles with a layer of silver permanently with a special technology. Silver is excellent in radiation protection and is tensile. The clothes made from silver fiber fabric is soft and comfortable.

Deep Sea Sediment Fabric

This fabric is mainly joyncleon fabric. The metal is put in a special container and placed at the bottom of sea. The metal structure is changed in this way and its radiation proofing performance and tensile strength improves. And then blends it with cotton velvet textiles.

This fabric can proof over 60db electromagnetic radiation. It is a good fabric for making shielding textiles.
