Woven Fabric

The yarns of two systems or two directions are crossband and interlaced with a certain pattern. The fabrics formed in this way are called woven fabric.

The weave of woven fabric is the simplest and most essential weave of all weaves. It is the foundation for forming weaves of variability and patterns.

It includes plain weave, twill weave and satin weave.

Knitted Fabric

Knitted fabric is divided into weft knitted fabric and warp knitted fabric according to its production method.

In weft knitted fabric, the yarns are transmitted to the needles in weft and each yarn is knitted by forming a loop in a horizontal line following a certain order.

While in warp knitted fabric, a batch or a few batches of parallel warp yarns are transmitted to all needles at the same time in warp and knitted in loops. And each yarn forms a loop in a horizontal line of loop.

Loop is the foundation of knitted fabric.

The basical weaves of warp knitted fabric are pillar stitch and tricot stitch.
