There are lots of fireproof fibers to makes fireproof fabrics for clothing. For example, fireproof polyester fiber, fireproof aramid fiber, fireproof acrylic.
And other natural fibers with fire retardant spray or treatment can also be used to make fire resistant clothes.
But those with fireproof treatment usually burn with strong odor or smoke. It's not quite environment-friendly.
For more eco friendly natural fireproof fibers, we have seaweed fiber with LOI up to 48%. It's a non flammable natural material.
We have blended it with cotton to make a fire safe fabric for undergarments. The fabric will self extinguish without dripping or melting when departs from fire. Besides, it also has many other benefits including low frequency EMF shielding, anti bacterial, anti fungus, ant static, skin care, etc. It can also blended with other fireproof fibers to make more fireproof clothes.
