If a cotton fabric has to be 100% fire resistant, the fabric has to be treated with fire retardant before spinning or after dyeing. The original cotton is not fire retardant at all.
But the original cotton fiber can also be blended with other fire retardant fibers to make a fire proof fabric. The cotton percentage shall be added as minimal as it is.
